Suzanne is our owner and operator at Connect To Learn. She previously worked at a tutoring centre before moving on to start up her own company. Suzanne founded Connect To Learn Corporation in 2012. Over the years CTL has grown so much! Suzanne is trained in Structure of Intellect, Orton Gillingham, and psychology. Suzanne has plenty of experience with kids, having raised two of her own, and being the go-to childcare for neighbourhood families for years. Suzanne is always excited to take on something new. She is very passionate about giving back and helping families in our community. Suzanne hopes to take CTL to the next level and continues to work towards helping more families.
Bobbi Jo has worked with Connect To Learn since 2012, right from the beginning. She specializes in multi-sensory work and the Orton Gillingham method. She has worked for many years as a behavioural interventionist. Bobbi Jo found her calling when her young daughter was struggling in elementary school. One thing led to another, and with the guidance and mentorship of Suzanne Allan, she gets to do work that she is passionate about. She is thrilled to help change the lives of families. We love Bobbi Jo’s commitment to her work, and the unmatched level of experience she is able to bring to Connect To Learn!
Tim attended Canadian University College (now Burmann University) in Lacombe Alberta. His education primarily surrounds Biology and the other sciences as well as 2 years course study in Secondary level Education. Tim joined us in September of 2017, he has been a wonderful addition to our high school group. Tim's goal with the students is to create a sense of personal pride, while fostering a 'can do attitude' and confidence in tackling their course work. Tim strives to help the students reduce their anxiety towards more difficult or complicated concepts through flexible teaching styles. He attempts to bring brevity and a more "light-hearted" approach (while expecting quality) to calm nerves and increase learning. Tim is an excellent role model to his students!
